FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
BEFORE YOU BUY
What is Warranted Works?
We sell documents written by an attorney, with guides, examples, and tools to help you use them. The contents vary by kit. Warranted Works is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Who are these for?
Authors, publishers, creators, and business owners who need to put the terms of their work in writing.
How do I know which kit I need?
Read “Is this the right kit?” on the product page. Check any required Master Agreement before buying an add-on. If you are unsure, email support@warrantedworks.com before you buy.
Are you a law firm?
No. Warranted Works is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Buying or using these materials does not create an attorney-client relationship. I'm an attorney — just not yours. What you're getting is professionally drafted starting documents and education, not advice about your specific situation.
Do I still need a lawyer?
We recommend having a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction review your completed documents before you sign, send, publish, or rely on them. The kit helps you prepare a draft and identify questions for that review.
Will this work in my state?
These documents are a starting point for use in the United States. Laws vary by state and by deal. Have a licensed attorney where you work review your completed documents.
Can I see inside before I buy?
Yes. Browse the product images for previews of the guide, templates, or other materials. The images and their order vary by kit. Read the product description for what your purchase includes.
WHAT IS IN A KIT
What do I get?
A Companion Guide, editable files in the formats listed on the product page, completed examples where the kit includes them, and a Video Guide. The full file list appears on each product page.
What format are the files?
Editable agreements and templates are generally Word files. Companion Guides, examples, and some tools are PDFs. Spreadsheet tools are Excel files where included. Each product page lists the file types for that kit.
What is the Video Guide?
A video that explains the key ideas and how to use your kit. Start with the video or Companion Guide, then follow the written instructions as you fill in your documents.
What is a completed example?
A filled-in document with made-up people and details. It shows how a form or tool can be used. Its terms and numbers are examples, not advice for your deal.
Do I need special software?
You need a PDF reader for guides and examples, a Word-compatible editor for editable documents, and an Excel-compatible spreadsheet app for any spreadsheets included. Formatting and spreadsheet features can vary between apps; check the finished file before using it.
BUYING AND DELIVERY
How and when do I get my files?
Immediately. Your download links appear on the confirmation screen as soon as your payment goes through, and we email them to you as well.
My download email never arrived.
Check your spam and promotions folders first — that is usually where it is.
Still nothing? Email support@warrantedworks.com with the name you ordered under and we will resend it.
How long do my download links stay active?
Download and save your files promptly. We do not guarantee permanent hosted access. If you have trouble with a download link, contact support@warrantedworks.com with your order details.
Can I download my files again later?
Keep your download email and your own saved copies. You can use the links again while access remains available. If a link stops working, email support@warrantedworks.com with your order details so we can help.
What payment methods do you accept?
The available payment methods appear at checkout and may vary by location, device, and eligibility. Payments are processed securely; Warranted Works does not receive or store your full payment card details.
USING YOUR KIT
Can I use AI to help with my kit?
Yes. You may use a private AI service to help you understand, organize, complete, compare, review, or revise a kit for your own permitted use. Turn off settings that allow your content to train or improve generalized models. Do not put the files in a public or shared chatbot, custom assistant, knowledge base, dataset, or retrieval system. Upload confidential or third-party material only when you have authority to disclose it. You remain responsible for reviewing every output and decision. See the Template License for the complete rules.
Where do I start?
Start with the Video Guide or Companion Guide. Then follow the kit’s instructions to choose and complete the right documents. If the kit requires a separate Master Agreement, confirm that you have it before using an add-on.
How do I know what to fill in?
Follow the fill-in prompts and choices in the document, together with the Companion Guide. Replace the placeholders with your own information and remove unused options as instructed. Review the completed document before using it.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. The files are made to be changed. The terms work together, so have your attorney check changes before you use the document.
Can I use one kit for more than one project?
Yes, within the uses allowed by the Template License. With a Master Agreement and SOW kit, sign a separate Master Agreement with each new client or contractor. Use a new SOW for each project. Follow your kit’s instructions.
How do I sign it?
Follow the signing instructions and fill in any required forms or attachments. Some deals have extra signing rules. Ask your attorney if you are unsure.
LICENSING, UPDATES, AND REFUNDS
Can I share it with a friend?
You may not give a friend the blank templates for their own use. The Template License explains permitted users, business use, and limited sharing with professional advisers or qualifying private AI services.
Can I use these with my own clients?
Yes, for your own business deals, including work with your clients. You cannot resell the templates, claim you wrote them, or include them in a product you sell.
What if the law changes?
If we make a significant update to a kit you purchased, you can receive the updated files at no extra cost. Email support@warrantedworks.com with your order details to ask about the latest version. An update does not replace review for your situation.
What is your refund policy?
Digital products are generally final sale. Our Refund Policy explains exceptions for verified technical problems, duplicate charges, certain accidental purchases, and refunds required by law. Contact support@warrantedworks.com promptly if there is a problem with your order.
One of my files will not open.
Email support@warrantedworks.com and we will sort it out. A broken or corrupted file is our problem, not yours.
How do I reach an actual person?
Email support@warrantedworks.com. A real person reads it.
